PAYPACE

Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated: 25 September 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PayPace mobile application (“PayPace”, “the app”). By downloading or using PayPace you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

PayPace is also licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. Where these Terms and Apple’s standard EULA both apply, Apple’s rules for App Store purchases and refunds control payment disputes. See also Apple’s standard Licensed Application EULA.

1. The service

PayPace helps you pace spending from payday to payday (balances, bills, expenses, safe-to-spend guidance, and optional Plus features). The app provides informational budgeting tools only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

2. Accounts and device use

You are responsible for activity on your device and for keeping any shared-budget invite codes confidential. Do not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access to sync backends, or use PayPace for unlawful purposes.

3. Free and Plus

Core budgeting features are available without charge. PayPace Plus unlocks additional tools such as category allocate, unlimited receipt scans, statement import, spend history detail, and shared budget with a partner. Feature availability may change; the app describes what is included at the time of purchase.

4. Auto-renewable subscriptions

Plus may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store, including:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store product page and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.

5. Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using PayPace you also acknowledge that policy.

6. Third-party services

Optional features may rely on third parties (for example OpenAI for receipt parsing, Supabase for shared-budget sync, and Apple for purchases). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.

7. Intellectual property

PayPace, its design, and related materials are owned by the developer (unless otherwise noted). You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, consistent with the App Store Terms of Use and these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that budgeting projections, receipt parses, or sync will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of PayPace. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
